Hi All With people making their travel plans for the festive season we would like to announce our Christmas and New Year transfer prices. Unlike taxi and private hire companies who put up fares by between 50% and 100% at Christmas and New Year, we will only be adding 30% on to our festive tariffs. This makes KinClan MPV Executive Travel the cheapest option for Glasgow Airport transfer, Prestwick Airport transfer and Edinburgh Airport transfer services as well as port transfers, rail transfers and city to city transport in our 6 seater people carriers. The Christmas supplementary charge will run from 18.00 on Saturday 24th December to 06.00 on Tuesday 27th December 2011 and the New Year surcharge will run from midnight on Friday 30th December 2011 to 06.00 on Wednesday 4th January 2012. Remember with 5 or 6 passengers on board one of our people carriers we are often cheaper than using public transport and always cheaper than airport taxis! Just to let you know about our Winter promotion of 10% off all return airport transfers between Glasgow International Airport, Edinburgh International Airport, Glasgow Prestwick Airport and anywhere in Scotland, England and Wales. This discount will apply on all airport, rail and port transfer bookings made through our website from 31st October to 30th March. If one leg of your journey starts before or finishes after the above dates we will still apply the 10% reduction to both legs of the journey.
Remember our prices are for up to six passengers in one of our executive people carriers. With five or six passengers travelling our prices work out cheaper than taking public transport to and from the airport!
To give you some example fares: Glasgow city centre to Edinburgh Airport return - promotion price: £124.00 Edinburgh city centre to Glasgow Airport return - promotion price: £142.00 Glasgow city centre to Prestwick Airport return - promotion price £88.00 Edinburgh city centre to Prestwick Airport return - promotion price £214.00
Based on the above transport prices a KinClan MPV Executive Travel private transfer for six passengers from Glasgow to Edinburgh Airport would be just over £10.00 per person each way, the price from Edinburgh city centre to Glasgow Airport would be under £12.00 per person, Glasgow city centre to Prestwick Airport works out at just over £7.00 per person and from Edinburgh city centre to Prestwick Airport would be under £18.00 per person.

Hello! June 2011 sees the opening of the missing link of the M74 from Tradeston in Glasgow to Cambuslang. This is great news for passengers travelling between Edinburgh and Glasgow Airport by cutting the journey time, particularly during the rush hour when the M8 at the Kingston Bridge becomes a bottle neck. Although the distance of 55 miles between Glasgow Airport and Edinburgh will be more or less the same as the M8 route, the M74/M73 option will mean there is less risk of missing your flight. It will also make transport quicker between Prestwick Airport and Edinburgh, Glasgow Airport and England and all towns in between. You can book your fixed price Glasgow Airport travel here. Hello Today's UK VAT increase from 17.5% to 20% and recent duty increases have pushed diesel prices to a record high in Scotland. You are probably thinking - I know what's coming next! Well, at KinClan MPV Executive Travel we will be absorbing the fuel price increases so that we do not have to pass on the cost to you, our customers. Private hire and taxi companies have already been raising their fares. Our 2011 prices for executive car transfers and private Scottish tours will remain amongst the cheapest in Central Scotland. In response to recent booking enquiries for executive car transfers in Scotland during the Christmas and New Year period we are delighted to announce that we will be providing a service throughout the whole of the festive season covering Glasgow Airport, Edinburgh Airport and Prestwick Airport as well as towns, hotels and Scottish railway stations. In line with other chauffeur, executive hire and taxi companies, prices will increase by 40% for travel on Christmas Day (from 00.00) and Boxing Day (until 06.00 on 27 December) and again for transport on New Year's Eve (from 18.00), New Year's Day and 2 January (until 06.00 on 3 January). As most chauffeur drive, executive car and taxi companies increase fares by 50% to 100% during the Christmas and New Year public holidays we believe that we at KinClan MPV Executive Travel are offering our customers excellent value for money with our competitive transfer costs.

Hi All Just to let you know that BAA have started to charge all vehicles £1.00 to drop off at Edinburgh Airport (as well as charging a minimum of £2.00 to pick up). Despite these unfair charges we will not be passing the cost onto your good selves and our airport transfer tariffs will remain as competitive as ever! Regards Greg
