One of our most popular private Scottish tours, the half - day Wee Scotch Tour takes you to the two closest whisky distilleries to Glasgow, the Auchentoshan at the foot of the Kilpatrick hills and the Glengoyne with its own private water supply, straight off the Campsie Fells. Both offer guided tours where you can taste the product and compare for yourself the difference between the former's triple distilled Lowland single malt and the latter's Highland single malt. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or residence in the Glasgow area (other areas can be arranged) in time for one of the hourly tours at Auchentoshan in Clydebank. From there we drive north west towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs taking in some of Scotland 's most spectacular scenery before arriving at the foot of the Campsie Hills in time to be shown around the Glengoyne distillery.
Our Big Dram Tour is left open for you to decide an itinerary based on your favourite Scotch. Day trips to a selection of Lowland or Highland distilleries are available and we can suggest a route for you. To do justice to a visit to Islay or Speyside we suggest a minimum two day voyage.
